Indiana Lawmakers Discussing New Requirements for Moped Riders

Supporters say the mini bikes should be treated like cars since they share the same roads. Some riders are against it because they don't think they can afford the cost of registering it like their car.
"It's another burden, said Evansville resident Dustin Bell. "It's causing us to have insurance. I've got a driver's license, but the insurance is outrageous for me. And this is my only way of getting around."
Lawmakers didn't take any action on it, but the bill's expected to be brought up again in committee as soon as next week.
