Former Trooper Taking Over as Petersburg Mayor

A former Indiana State Trooper will be Petersburg's next mayor.

Master Trooper Frank Coleman has been selected to fill out the term of Jon Craig, who announced last month, he was resigning to take a job with the state Department of Rural Affairs.

Coleman is a 27 year veteran of the ISP.  He is retiring from the force to take the mayor's job.

Coleman will be sworn in on February 22nd.
