Madisonville Flooding

While recent floods across the tri-state were caused mostly by heavy rain. Factors other than mother nature may have contributed to damage at a shopping center in Madisonville. Madisonville mayor Will Cox says clogged culverts at the CSX railyard are to blame and that he brought it to the attention of railroad officials months ago. While CSX claim representatives have been visiting area businesses they havent admitted any wrongdoing. Meanwhile, businesses like Bolin Rentals continues working despite an empty store. Bolin lost about 80 percent of its merchandise, and employees say it could be six to eight weeks before they are fully operational.
