On this Valentine's Day one local organization is doing it's best to spread their meaning of the word "heart." The group, Cypress, held an anti-bullying meeting today at Thompkins Middle School introducing the acronym "H.E.A.R.T" The acronym stands for: Helping Everyone with Anti-bullying, Respect and Tolerance.
The group says the meeting is a way to help teachers, parents, or anyone around children, to learn ways to deal with bullying. "We just want want these tools to be at the teachers fingertips so that they can find them easily and use them," says Cypress member Karen Bryan.
The group encourages parents or anyone else wanting to use their new online lessons for dealing with bullying at www.cypressevansville.org
