A burn victim from an explosion in southern Illinois last month has died. Cook Funeral Chapel in Carmi tells us that 66-year-old Larry Perry died this morning. He was being treated at the burn center in St. Louis. The explosion happened in Grayville on January 26. A wood burning stove at a drilling company overheated and caused a nearby acetylene gas tank to explode. Another man, 43-year-old Tony Berger, was also hurt in the blast. He is recovering at home.
