Moped Bill Passes IN House Committee

A bill to more strictly regulate mopeds in Indiana is alive again in the Indiana General Assembly. A House committee voted unanimously in favor of a bill that would require anyone driving a moped faster than 30 miles per hour to have a driver's license, insurance and a license plate on the moped.
Anyone driving a moped slower than 30 miles per hour would still need a license plate, but they would not have to have a driver's license or insurance.
The bill now goes to the full House for consideration.
