Tri-State drivers won't be getting any relief at the pump soon.

Gas prices are ranging from $3.75 per gallon in Kentucky to more than $3.90 in Illinois.  Several gas stations in Evansville were charging $3.89 a gallon.  The climbing prices are causing some drivers to cut back on other things just to pay for the higher cost.

"Just extra things.  Extra curricular activities," says Mike Harper of Evansville.  "You got a lot of people taking vacations.  A lot more staying closer to home."

But others say they're not changing how they live.  Joan Fraser of Evansville says she hasn't needed to cutback on anything.  But she wonders how others will be able to handle it.

"I can't imagine kids making the trip I make," she says. "They couldn't do it."
