Two people are in jail on meth charges, but an Evansville woman claims police crossed the line during a meth lab bust last night.

Police arrested Ryan Myers, 26, and Tausha Payne, 23, and charged them with possession and conspiracy to manufacture meth.  Evansville Police say they found several items used to make the drug inside the home on West Virginia St.

But Patti Cain, who lives at the same house, accuses investigators of verbal harassment and unwarranted visits to her home.

"They were here for people with warrants that didn't live here, don't know how they got our address and told me, 'until they got a better address, we're going to keep coming here,'" she says.

But police say they did nothing wrong, especially since the house has a history of incidents.

"We were there in September for an active meth lab.  We've been there lately for a man with an active warrant," says. Sgt. Jason Cullum.  "There's not a limit on how many times we can go to a home.  If there's a crime there, we're going."

Cain was cited for keeping animals in a home with hazardous materials.  Myers and payne are being held in the Vanderburgh Co. Corrections Center.
