Good economic news for western Kentucky, where a precision metal forming company will soon add as many as 50 jobs. The Hines Group is expanding its Philpot location at the Mid-America Airpark in Daviess County. County economic development officials say the company will offer high-paying, good jobs. Daviess County is considering $200,000 in incentives to help with the expansion. The money would come out of a fund the county set up two years ago to help attract more jobs to the areas. No word when this expansion might happen.
