A former police officer, convicted of murder, is waking up to his second day inside a maximum security prison.

Drew Peterson was moved to the Pontiac Correction Center on Monday, where he will spend the next 38 years.

The ex-suburban police officer was sentenced last week for murdering Kathleen Savio in 2004.  He's also a suspect in the 2007 disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson.

Drew Peterson will be eligible for parole in 2047, at the age of 93.
