Rockport Gasification Bill Passed By IN Senate

The Indiana Senate passed the measure Tuesday night. It currently states that if a lawsuit moving throught the indiana court system is successful, a new contract would have to be drawn up.
The contract calls for Indiana gas companies to buy the gas from the plant at a set rate for 30 years.
Gas companies have railed against the deal, now that gas prices have fallen. They say it will cost their customers a billion dollars.
