Jasper Man Facing Rape Charges

A 25-year-old Dubois County man is now charged with rape and sexual battery. Investigators with the Jasper Police Department say the victim told them Gary Hires raped her last week. Officers say they issued a warrant for his arrest Tuesday. We're told Hires was staying at the Dubois County Community Corrections Facility at the time of his arrest.. That's a transitional center that offers different programs for criminal offenders.
