A Pike County couple is behind bars after Indiana State Police say the attacked each other in front of their two children.

When Troopers arrived at Ashley Cruze and Lucas Clements' home Wednesday night, Troopers say both had bruises on their face.

After an investigation, Troopers say they determined Cruze and Clements were involved in an argument and had battered each other while two children, ages 5 and 5 months were present.

Clements and Cruze were arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail, where they are currently being held without bond.

The children were released to their grandparents.
