A Registered Sex Offender Arrested After Violating Parole

Gibson County Deputies arrested Thomas Eugene Young Jr. of Evansville on
a parole violation warrant issued by the Indiana Department of Corrections.
Last year Young was released from prison and put on electronic gps monitoring for a 2009 conviction for sexual misconduct with a minor.
Yesterday evening parole officers received information that Young's electronically monitored bracelet had been cut and removed from his body.
This morning deputies arrested him without incident at a family's home in Patoka.
Young is being held without bond in the Gibson County Jail.
