The Federal Prison in Terre Haute Will Make Big Release This Summer

The Federal Prison will be releasing around five-thousand catfish and some of those fish will end up right here in Evansville.
Inmates at the prison are raising channel catfish for the Indiana DNR's new urban fishing program.
Officials say Evansville's Garvin Park Lake and Diamond Valley Park Lake will be stocked under the program.
The goal of the program is to make fishing more available to residents in Indiana cities and provide education and long-term training for inmates.
