UPDATE: Owensboro House Fire Extinguished, No One Injured

Fire Crews were called to West 5th & Sims Avenue just after 8pm to fight a house fire.
Dispatch tells Eyewitness News the fire is no under control and most units are now leaving.
The homeowner tells us he left for a short time and when he returned the house was on fire. Officials say it is an electrical fire that started in the basement. Most of the damage is in the basement and kitchen.
No injuries were reported.
