Man Arrested Following Tuesday Shooting in Evansville

Evansville Police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting on Evansville's south side.
Jerry Dulin, II is facing murder charges after police say he shot Donnie DeJarnett shortly after 4:30 Tuesday evening, near the intersection of Sweetser and South New York Avenue.
Police say DeJarnett was traveling south on New York when he drove off the road and through several yards before hitting a tree.
When officers arrived, they say they found DeJarnett dead inside the vehicle.
Officers say they detained another man ran away from the scene. That person was later released.
