The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park is feeling the pinch as federal funding cutbacks go into effect.
The park in Vincennes is losing about 5-percent of its federal funding. They've already cut back on the number of employees and hours, and are not hiring any summer seasonal staff.
Starting next month, the visitors center will be closed on Sundays and all federal holidays. Officials say it might not seem like much now., but it could have long term effects.
