It is time again to debate time in Indiana as we prepare to spring forward to daylight saving time this weekend. Yet another effort could soon be considered. A central Indiana lawmaker plans to ask that a committee be appointed this Summer to look at various time issues. Committee members would then recommend possible changes to next year's General Assembly. Some of those changes could include moving the entire state to Central Time or moving counties like Vanderburgh into the Eastern Time Zone.
