Indiana State House Republicans plan to spend $750,000 on renovations in
the Statehouse in the coming years. The House GOP added the measure to
the $30 billion it approved last month as a single line item reading
only "renovation." A spokeswoman did not immediately say how the money
would be spent. House Democrats say they were unaware of the new
spending and that it was never discussed publicly.
