UPDATE: South Spencer High School Student Killed In Accident

A Spencer County teen, 18 year old Jacob Hamilton, is dead following a serious accident near Reo. It happened around noon in front of South Spencer High School. Coroner Robert Fuller says the teen was leaving the school on Orchard Road when the passenger's side of his vehicle was struck by a semi driving on Highway 66. Hamilton's vehicle pulled out in front of the semi.

Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene.
