Survey Seeks Opinions on Allowing Gays in Scouting

There is a survey making the rounds within the Boy Scouts of America, asking volunteers and employees about the issue of allowing gays in scouting.
The survey includes questions like 'what is your greatest concern if the policy remains in place?' Another asks for an opinion on well qualified scouts or leaders that admit to being gay.
The scouts have publicly pledged to ban gays from the organization, but behind the scenes, the scouts privately convened a committee to determine whether the ban should be modified or lifted.
The ban could change in May, when the group's council will decide whether to keep, modify or rescind it.
