We now know the name of the woman found dead at an east side Evansville hotel.  The Vanderburgh County Coroner says the victim is 47-year-old Robin Frank of Newburgh.  Evansville Police say a hotel employee saw a man pushing a luggage cart with an unresponsive woman on it.  That woman was apparently dead and was loaded into a car outside the Hampton Inn.

Vanderburgh County Coroner Annie Groves says Frank was staying at the hotel with her husband Kenneth because their home recently caught on fire.  Authorities say around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon, a clerk saw Kenneth pushing a luggage cart through the Hampton Inn lobby, with an unresponsive female on it.  Kenneth left the hotel and went to a car in the parking lot.  Authorities say when police arrived, Kenneth was with the car and his wife was in the back seat.  That's when they discovered she was dead.  Sgt. Jason Cullum says the man has been detained and is being interviewed.

"This is a very unique situation. Again, the person that saw it, called did a good job because clearly that was not normal. You may see kids at a hotel get on these luggage carts and play, but to see an adult on one of these that doesn't appear to be responsive or interacting with the person that's pushing the cart is definitely unusual," Sgt. Cullum said.

The coroner says they don't see anything suspicious at this time.  An autopsy is scheduled for 10:00 Thursday morning.
