Saline County Drug Seizures Net Nearly $400,000

The Southern Illinois Drug Task Force says it has seized dozens of cannabis plants and several weapons from various locations in Saline County over the past week.
According to the task force, two indoor cannabis growing operations in Carrier Mills, and another in the county, have netted more than 160 plants and several firearms. Task force members say they also confiscated about one pound of processed cannabis, as well as other equipment.
In all, the task force says the street value of the seizures is more than $367,000. Charges are pending and the investigation continues.
