(Washington, DC) -- A potentially dangerous baby carrier is being recalled by the thousands. The Consumer Product Safety Commission reports the "Beco Butterfly" infant carriers made by Beco Baby Carrier Inc. pose a falling hazard to babies. The buckles on the carrier shoulder straps are said to have released tension in eight different cases, causing the strap to slip through. Consumers of the carriers in the U.S. and Dominican Republic are being urged to stop use of the product immediately. Around two-thousand of the carriers have been sold for about 140-dollars each. The styles being recalled include Mia, Pony Express, Carnival, Addison, Ethan, Sophia, Cameron, Ava and Joshua.
