Whirlpool Suspends Smokers

Whirlpool has suspended some workers for allegedly lying on their health insurance.
A company spokeswoman say 39 employees were seen smoking while claiming on their health insurance that they were non-smokers.
The company requires smokers to pay an extra 500 dollar in insurance premiums.
Most of the suspensions were production employees.
But company officals say more could come, possibly including some administrative staff.
