Boil Advisory for Henderson

Roughly 500 people who live near the Henderson Community College are under a boil advisory. Henderson Water Utility says contractors working on the U.S. 60 widening project accidentally struck a 12-inch water main. The leak has been isolated and water pressure is back, but if you live in the area of U.S. 60 west from Canoe Creek crossing near Ohio Drive to 1 mile west of the Community College. This includes all of Old Corydon Road and the Riverport Industrial Park. Its a good idea to boil your water for three minutes before you drink it or cook with it. The water has been deemed safe for all other uses.
