Many tristate residents joined together Wednesday night to protest rape and sexual assault. The Albion Fellows Bacon Center held its 11-th annual Take Back the Night March. Survivors of sexual crimes and their supporters marched from Casino Aztar to the Four Freedoms Monument carrying signs and chanting in protest. The crowd lit candles, and sexual crime survivors shared their stories. Organizers say it’s really important for the people understand that there are services so that they can start the healing process no matter how far along or how long ago it was. It’s important they get the help they need. According to Albion Fellows Bacon Center, a woman is raped every 90 seconds in America.
