Clinton Stops At Central High School

Hillary Clinton made her last Indiana primary campaign stop last night at central high school here in Evansville. Indiana Senator Evan Bayh introduced Clinton as the two took to the podium. His support is credited for her surge in recent polls here. Bayh is also co-sponsoring a gas tax holiday bill with Clinton. The legislation has been a sparing point between Clinton and rival democrat Barack Obama. Bayh says the proposed summer gas tax holiday may not be the only solution to reigning in gas prices, but says its a break Americans need.
Senator Obama contends freezing the 18-cent a gallon federal gas tax would raid the nations highway road building fund, and doesnt think congress would vote to take oil company profits to replenish the fund.
