Evansville Man Shot in Indianapolis

An Evansville man was shot to death last night in Indianapolis.
Police there report that 40-year old Michael Smith was gunned down on the city's northeast side just before 10:30.
Officers searched the area when they arrived on the scene and had to follow a blood trail that stretched the length of two houses to find Smith.
He was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital where he died from his gunshot wounds.
