Road erosion and leaks....just some of the problems facing Mesker Park Zoos Amazonia.
The multi- million dollar project opening date was recently pushed back from June to July.
Despite the problems those involved with the Amazonia exhibit say they are making progress.
They say the project will open in just two months.
But still in question is when the lingering issues will be fixed and who will pay for it.
Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel says the city is not responsible for costly road erosion that leads up to the exhibit.
But says the costs associated with it will be legally be resolved.
The mayor says they may look at shorter Amazonia hours as one way to work around any repairs on the road.
