Road erosion and leaks....just some of the problems facing Mesker Park Zoos Amazonia. The multi- million dollar project opening date was recently pushed back from June to July. Despite the problems those involved with the Amazonia exhibit say they are making progress. They say the project will open in just two months. But still in question is when the lingering issues will be fixed and who will pay for it. The mayor says they may look at shorter Amazonia hours as one way to work around any repairs on the road.
