Five Teens Arrested For Car Thefts

Five juveniles on the run are now in police custody. Saturday a car was reported stolen. Sunday, another vehicle was reported missing, and Evansville Police received a tip that it was the same group of juveniles stealing the cars. Police caught up with one of the suspects on foot near his home. On their way to the detention center they spotted the second stolen vehicle, with the remaining suspects inside. The juveniles were all apprehended. The juveniles may face auto theft charges, criminal recklessness, felony resisting and trespassing charges. One of the teens was on a weekend pass from a detention center in northern Indiana.
