Burglary Suspects Caught

Unwanted and unwelcome visitors greeted an Evansville homeowner Monday. Just after noon, an Evansville resident in the 33-hundred block of West Franklin Street came home to find two men burglarizing the place. The suspects took off on foot with a bag of stolen goods. The homeowner called police, a short time later canines tracked down the culprits at the corner of Franklin and Barker. Witness told police the men both had on hoodies and jackets, but when they were caught they just had t-shirts on and both were sweating profusely. Police are still looking for the stolen items and the hoodies the men were wearing. One of the suspects arrested was a juvenile. The other was wanted on a warrant.
