Company Brings 600 Jobs to Terre Haute

California company announces expansion in Terre Haute (Terre Haute, IN) Governor Mitch Daniels joined executives from customer service management firm Alorica today to announce the companys plans to establish a new in-bound customer service center here, creating more than 600 new jobs by 2009. The Chino, Calif.-based company, which provides integrated customer support services that range from call center operations to web-traceable service logistics, will site its new Indiana operations in 50,000 square feet of former retail space in the Plaza North Shopping Center located at 1800 Fort Harrison Road, Suite 23 in the western Indiana city. Alorica, which employs more than 7,500 associates at its 13 global locations, plans to begin hiring customer care specialists and managers in May to meet the growing demand from its clients that include FORTUNE 500 companies. Alorica, which has earned national acclaim from organizations ranging from Deloitte & Touche to Software Magazine, will begin hiring associates for its new Indiana operations during a series of two events slated for May 19 to 21 and May 27 to 29 at Ivy Tech Community College, 1700 East Industrial Drive, Terre Haute.
