A Vanderburgh County deputy pulled over a Mustang at Highway 41 and Diamond Avenue that was doing 60 miles an hour in a 45 mph zone Wednesday night.
When the deputy asked the driver, Randy Clark, to step out, Clark sped off again with his passenger, Amber Hogan.
The chase reached 130 miles an hour.
It ended when the deputy tackled Clark in a ditch on Petersburg Road, where it dead ends near the airport.
Clark had crashed into a squad car and took off on foot.
Deputies say they found cocaine and marijuana.
Clark and Hogan face numerous felony charges.
