Humane Society Falls Short in Makeover Contest

The Henderson County Humane Society will not get the million dollar makeover they were hoping for. The tri-state humane society failed to make Zootoo.coms top three spots. Zootoo made the announcement Thursday in Florida. But, it is not all bad news for the shelter. Because online voters put them in the top 20 they will receive some money. They get $5,000. for being a finalist, a $1,000. for being a Zootoo supporter and another $1,000 from the dog food company Pedigree.
