Wes Attebury Cancer Awareness

Many spent the afternoon in Howell Park, spreading awareness about the skin disease, melanoma. A fundraiser was set up in Wes Atteburys honor. He was a former USI basketball player who lost his life to the disease. Music artists and dancers from Indianapolis performed for the cause and raised money for families who are battling melanoma. This is the second year for the event. Last week, a charity basketball game was also held in memory of Wes.
