The Vanderburgh County prosecutors office now has two cases connected to the May 6-th primary to take a closer look at. We showed you the first on election day, where a poll worker was clearly caught by our camera chanting a presidential candidates name in the polling place. Now theres allegations that an election official cast the presidential vote on another womans ballot. It allegedly happened on May 2nd at the holiday nursing home in Evansville. Thats when Republican travel board member Jessica Kohtala says she and Louise Williams collected a ballot from a resident named Margaret. Kohtala says "Margaret" did not vote in the race for president, but alleges that Williams opened the ballot marking the voting spot for presidential candidate Barack Obama. Vanderburgh County Election Board President Tom Massey says both the charges and denial by Williams influenced the boards decision to send the case to the Prosecutors office. Massey says that office will now investigate and decide whether to file charges. The administrator of Holiday Healthcare says nothing like this has happened at the facility in the past.
