A police chase in Spencer County turns into a soggy end for a suspected law breaker Thursday night. Indiana State Police say they tried to pull over 25-year old Joshua Peters for a busted tail light in Grandview when Peters decided to put the pedal to the metal. Law enforcement say Peters even rammed a police cruiser in an attempt to get away. But mother nature proved to much for Peters. Police say he took a wrong turn and wound up driving into the Ohio River. Before Peters pickup truck sank, he was able to get out and get to shore. He is currently being held in the Spencer County Jail on long list of charges.
