Its pocket change compared to what were paying for gasoline, but it looks like residents are going to pay a higher sewer rate in Evansville, too.
The Water and Sewer Utility Board approved an increase that will cost the average customer an extra $3.45 a month.
The increase will pay for sewer projects in the city.
If approved by the city council, the increase will go into effect on August 1.
