Abduction Report a Lie

The reported abduction of a young girl FOX 7 reported on Tuesday night never happened. Evansville police say the two girls involved in the incident admitted to detectives that they made up the entire story. The girls originally told police a man in a white van tried to abduct them and that they fought off the attacker. However, they later told police they lied. Police have not released a reason why the girls may have made up the story.
