A Dubois County woman played "catch me if you can" with the cops early Wednesday morning and she ended up on the losing end.
Huntingburg Police suspected Mindy Garland of drunk driving and took her into custody around 1:00.
Garland was in the back of the squad car when the officer went into the Dubois County Communications Center to pick up some paperwork.
That's when Garland slipped out of an unlocked car window.
She was found a couple hours later hiding in the woods.
Garland is charged with escape, mischief, and drunk driving.
