Singapore Armpit Sniffer Gets Max Jail Time
A serial armpit sniffer gets the book thrown at him in Singapore.
A local newspaper says the man was sentenced today to 14 years in jail and 18 strokes of the cane for molesting 23 women over the course of 15 months.
The "Strait Times" reports the 36-year-old man was convicted of smelling his victims armpits and inappropriately touching them.
The "Times" says the mans jail term is normally only given to hardcore criminals but the court believes the man was likely to commit the crime again.
He reportedly has had previous convictions for drug and sex offenses.
