Two Evansville Police officers on bicycles helped nab a drunk driver in downtown Evansville.
Police say they were riding their bikes in full uniform around 9:30 Monday night when they saw Derrick Clegg driving erratically on Missouri Street.
They say they pulled up to the vehicle and yelled in a loud voice "Stop. Police!".
That's when they say Clegg sped off.
Other law enforcement were called to the chase and Clegg was caught and arrested a short time later.
Police say the suspect had his juvenile son in the car with him.
Clegg faces a long list of charges including DUI with a minor in the vehicle, an habitual traffic violator for life, and criminal recklessness.
