Kentucky State Police say they may have solved an almost 16 year old murder case. Authorities have indicted a Texas man for the 1991 murder of a Hopkins County woman. Bradley Dale Day, 40, was indicted by a Hopkins County grand jury on Tuesday., an arrest warrant was immediately issued for Day, who lives in Rockwall, Texas. The 1991 murder was actually reported by Day. He told police Sheila Jo Hargrove, 30, was missing from her Manitou, KY home. Police later found Hargroves body in a strip pit. The crime had very few leads and went unsolved for years, but Sate Police recently renewed their investigation and now Day has been charged with murder. Day is being held in a Texas county jail. Kentucky State Police are currently making arrangements to bring him back to the Commonwealth.
