Students Laxative-Laced Cake Hospitalizes Brooklyn Teachers (Brooklyn, NY) -- A prank by some students at a Brooklyn high school sent two teachers to the hospital and sickened three other staffers. The "New York Daily News" reports three seniors at the Brooklyn School for Global Studies have been suspended, barred from graduation and arrested after offering the teachers cake laced with laxatives. Sources say assault charges are pending against 17-year-olds Kenny Ramirez, Tiara Peoples and Quashon Burton. The students behind last Thursdays stunt werent seen as troublemakers. One was a straight-A cheerleader, so no one was suspicious when they doled out the chocolate-iced Bundt cake. (Copyright 2008 by Newsroom Solutions) RNS-06-18-08 0415CDT
