Casino Aztar Selects New G.M.

There's a new General Manager for Casino Aztar. Maureen Keenan, who has been Aztar's Head of Finance and Administration for 12 years, has been promoted to the top job. She replaces Jim Brown, who resigned earlier this month. Keenan will inherit an icy relationship between the Casino and the City of Evansville. Earlier this week, Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel asked the Indiana Gaming Commission to investigate Casino Aztar's new owner, Columbia Sussex. The Mayor says the company told him they would layoff an additional 70 employees. Columbia sussex told us the layoffs are not certain.
