Indianas Help Thy Neighbor heating fund has helped more than 6000 Vectren customers this winter. The assistance provides a one-time, $200 credit for customers with a disconnect notice and who meet the federal poverty guidelines.
Vectren says funds are still available yet this year. Anyone interested should contact Vectren either by phone or online.
Funds are dispersed on a first-come, first-serve basis. To apply, visit http://www.vectren.com or call 1-800-227-1376.
