Kids raced to grab thousands of eggs for a special Easter Day hunt at Mater Dei High School Sunday.
They came out by the hundreds.. despite the cold temperatures.
Coordinator Matt Conkling of the West Side Nut Club says last year at this time, it was 80 degrees, but says it was still a great turn out. Heather Hinsey says she came out because they were hiding 11,000 eggs. The eggs were filled with candy, money and tickets for stuffed Easter bunnies. The event has become a tradition for the West Side Nut Club as a way to give back to the community.
