Section of Riverside Dr. Closed for Freedom Fest

Crews closed off a section of Riverside Drive in downtown Evansville Monday to prepare for the 2008 Freedom Festival. The street is closed between Cherry and Court streets. The Freedom Festival kicks off Thursday and runs all weekend long. You can catch the fireworks show over the river Friday, July 4th. The road will stay closed to traffic until July 5th. If you can not make it down to the Freedom Festival this year, be sure to watch FOX 7. We will be broadcasting live during all of our newscasts on Thursday and Friday.
